About Madison Irish Fest

Madison Irish Fest is Madison’s established Irish Music Festival. The Fest features a strong line-up of Celtic music favorites from Wisconsin, across the US, and Ireland. Bands include Irish traditional music, Irish rock, and Irish Blue Grass.

About Fête de Marquette

The Fête de Marquette is the largest music festival in Madison, Wisconsin, with over 100,000 patrons and takes place in from July 9-12, 2026. In addition to the Madison Irish Fest stage, there are multiple other stages, multiple genres of music and dance, games, a marketplace of local artisans and a whole lot of fun. 

The FREE family friendly music festival is able to happen thanks to sponsors. While corporate sponsors support the festival, the festival has a great history of many of the 100,000 patrons donating to the festival through the weekend.

In Support of the Wil-Mar Neighborhood

The proceeds support the yearly programming in the Wil-Mar neighborhood and east side community center. Some of the services include a food pantry, community garden plots, youth programs and work experience, senior programs, community events, summer camps and childcare. The Wil-Mar Center is a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit.

The Arts Division of Compassionate Response is also a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit and is spearheading this campaign to bring Irish music and culture to Madison and support the important programming of the Wil-Mar Center and east side neighborhoods at the same time.
